Congrats to Charlie Sheen: the actor’s wife, Brooke Mueller, gave birth to twin boys on Saturday. Bob and Max (Old man names! Love it!) are the first children for the couple.

Charlie also has an older daughter, Cassandra, 23, from a previous relationship, as well as two younger daughters, Sam, 5, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards.

Congrats to Niki Taylor: the supermodel and husband Burney Lamar welcomed their first child together on Wednesday morning. Daughter Ciel Taylor Lamar was born at a Nashville hospital, one day before her mother’s thirty-third birthday.

Niki also has 14 year old twin sons, Hunter and Jake, from her first marriage to some dude.

Congrats to Melanie Chisholm: the former Spice Girl gave birth to her first child on Monday. Mel C and boyfriend Thomas Starr announced the birth of daughter Scarlett Starr on the singer’s website.

“Melanie C gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 4.10pm on Sunday 22nd February. Both mum and baby are doing well.”

35 year old Mel C was the last of the Spice Girls to become a mother: Victoria Beckham and husband David Beckham have three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz; Emma Bunton gave birth to a son, Beau, in 2007; Geri Halliwell has two-and-a-half year old daughter Bluebell; and Mel B has two daughters, Phoenix Chi, ten, and Angel Iris, one-and-a-half, with former boyfriend Eddie Murphy.

M.I.A.’s baby-daddy is Benjamin Bronfman, the guitarist for The Exit and member of the Bronfman Family, widely considered one of the most influential (and wealthiest) Jewish families in the world.

Mira Sorvino, who was famous in the 90’s, but not so much now, is pregnant with her third child.

“We are overjoyed at the thought of welcoming a new addition to the family,” Sorvino, 41, tells Us. “With each child, the love in our hearts has expanded beyond what we ever imagined was possible.”

Sketchy octuplet mom, aka Nadya Suleman, already has six children, so I guess she kind of ran out of names.

And speaking of those six other children, Nadya’s mother spoke out this week, and claimed she was “very upset” her 33 year old daughter decided to artificially inseminate herself again, because she has “no means to support” the fourteen kids.

Angela Suleman said she is the primary caregiver to her daughter’s children, and they all live with her in a cramped three-bedroom home.

“She already has six beautiful children, why would she do this?” Angela Suleman told Radaronline.com in an interview that aired on ABC’s Good Morning America. “To have them all is unconscionable to me. She really really has no idea what she’s doing to her children and to me.”

Angela said that she’s been housing and supporting her daughter Nadya and her six grandchildren (by in vitro fertilization) in a “cramped,” three-bedroom apartment for years. The babies are fed in shifts and “there’s children’s clothing piled all over the house,” she added.

“How she’s going to cope, I don’t know,” Angela said of her daughter. “I’m really tired of taking care of the six children and need her to think about how she’ll provide for all these children.”

Angela added that Nadya “spent a lot of money on toys” but never contributed rent or food money.

She also claims that her daughter “never told” her about the more than $167,000 that records show she received from worker’s compensation claims.

“Nadya promised to help me with the bills, but she never has,” Angela said. “I lost a house because of it and now I’m struggling to look after her six.”

Added Susan, “Unless [Nadya] starts working, earning money, I don’t know, she may have to go on welfare, which she said she never would do.”

After watching the above video, something strange occurred to me: Nadya has underwent some obvious plastic surgery over the past few years. How in the world is homegirl affording all this shit?

Congrats to Erykah Badu: the singer gave birth to a daughter on Sunday. Erykah’s partner, Jay Electronica, posted blog updates on Twitter throughout Erykah’s home delivery.

“Morning, I’m in labor,” Badu announced to her 4,500 followers on Sunday.

The couple chose to deliver at her Brooklyn, New York home with the help of a midwife — who was apparently running late.

“Labor has begun,” Electronica wrote. “Everybody stand back. No hospitals. No doctors. No medicine. We’re waiting for the midwife to show.

“Getting closer. She says she feels like she’s ready to push,” he wrote, before updating a couple hours later with “I see the head. Full of hair.”

Shortly after delivery, Electronica posted: “Feb. 1 2009 my first child, my daughter born at 130 PM exactly. It’s the happiest day of my life.”

Badu added: “I can’t believe it’s over. Home birth, no painkillers, about five hours, she was a little past due date, but I didn’t mind waiting. Breath.”

Although Erykah has yet to confirm, she reportedly named her daughter Twitty Milk. Yeah.

Erykah also has a seven year old daughter, Puma, and a ten year old son, Seven, with ex-boyfriend Andre 3000.
