Paris Hilton carried on her tour of the Middle East this week. The reality show tart headed to Beirut on Friday, where she hosted a party at the Forum de Beyrouth. Fortunately for Lebanon, Paris only spent one day in the capital city before she went back to Dubai to continue filming on “Paris Hilton’s BFF Dubai.”

They said it wouldn’t last, and of course, it didn’t: Paris Hilton ended her six month relationship with publicity-loving nobody Doug Reinhardt.

“In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true they are no longer together. They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy,” a rep for Hilton says.

A source told Radar that Paris tired of Doug’s “quest for publicity and fame.”

“[Paris] is completely over Doug’s constant quest for publicity and fame…her friends were very concerned about Reinhardt’s motives.

“Doug has been calling Paris all day today, crying, and Paris has already moved on,” the source says.

Not surprisingly, Amanda Bynes split with Doug in January for similar reasons. Us Weekly reported Amanda’s friends “didn’t trust him. Everyone thought he was using her for celebrity.”

Before Amanda, Doug briefly dated Lauren Conrad.

Tom Petty’s director daughter Adria put together a new documentary that delves into the Paris Hilton’s cult of personality. Adria attempted to portray Paris as “real,” and “not retarded.”

I’m not sure Adria succeeded in her endeavor.

For reasons I’m not entirely sure of, Paris Hilton posed for a photo-op with Chantal Biya, the First Lady of Cameroon. The odd couple were paired up the African Ladies’ Health Summit Gala on Tuesday in Beverly Hills.

I have no clue how Paris ended up being invited to such an event, but I think it probably involved sending the invitation to the wrong address.

Non-shocker: Paris Hilton’s champagne-in-a-can isn’t selling so great.

Rich Prosecco, sparkling wine in a can, is failing to meet sales targets, with batches of the stuff languishing in warehouses across the world.

Added to that, the company also faces a legal showdown with Italian vintners over the use of the name ‘Prosecco’.

However Austrian owner Guenther Aloys refuses to blame Paris’ endorsement of the drink for its poor performance in the marketplace.

He said: “She is the perfect advert for our product.

“We have several new campaigns that are already being planned.”
