Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick released the first photo of their newborn twins, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge. The babies, who were born last week via surrogate, posed alongside big brother James Wilke.

Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick welcomed twin girls yesterday. Barbara Walters announced the good news this morning on The View.

Sarah and Matthew are reportedly in Ohio with the babies’ surrogate mother.

A spokesperson for East Ohio Regional Hospital had no comment, but told People “everything’s good.” Reps for the couple could not be reached for comment.

“I’m thrilled for Sarah and Matthew,” Sex and the City costar Kim Cattrall said Tuesday after the babies’ birth was reported. “More ‘fabulous girls’ are joining our SATC family.”

The couple also have a six year old son, James Wilke.

Via her rep, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed she and husband Matthew Broderick are expecting twin girls. The babies, conceived through a surrogate, will be born sometime this summer.

The Hollywood couple, who already have son James Wilkie, 6, announced Tuesday they’re “happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed.”

More good news for SJP: Chris Noth signed on for the sequel to the “Sex and the City” movie after holding out for a higher pay day. SJP announced the good news this week, and added shooting began last month.

Although shooting hasn’t started, the Sex and the City movie sequel already has a release date: May 28, 2010. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, and Cynthia Nixon will reprise their roles for the second Sex and the City movie.

Co-star Chris Noth said the movie’s producers “are probably thinking” about a baby for Carrie and husband Mr. Big.

Sarah Jessica Parker graced the latest issue of Star Magazine, along with the headline, “Sarah Jessica Moving Out!” The tab claimed Sarah started searching for a new NYC home for herself and six year old son James Wilke, after her husband was caught cheating with some broad.

Matthew Broderick reportedly had an affair with a 25 year old youth counselor (adultery is bad, kids!) last year. Although Sarah attempted marital counseling with Matthew, Star alleged the marriage of eleven years just couldn’t last.

“The time has come when she realizes it just isn’t worth it,” a friend of the couple tells Star. “Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtain on her marriage.”

Adds another insider: “Sarah’s not stupid. She knows exactly what’s going on. For a while it was easier for her to stay than go through a harsh divorce. They’re essentially living separate lives.”

Now that the holidays are over, the actress is revisiting her exit strategy, which takes into careful consideration the couple’s son, just about the only thing holding the pair together.

“They spent the holidays with him, pretending to be happy,” says another source. “SJP is a great actress when she has to be!”

I always expected this to happen, but I assumed Matthew would be caught cheating with Nathan Lane.
