This week while filming a scene for the upcoming Runaways biopic, Kristen Stewart proved that once you have the spirit of Joan Jett inside your soul, you feel no pain. Or, at least I hope she didn’t feel any pain after she took a header onto some pavement.

Kristen Stewart debuted her new Joan Jett-inspired hair style yesterday in North Hollywood. Along with Dakota Fanning, Kristen started filming The Runaways biopic recently.

Kristen (duh) plays Joan, while Dakota signed up to play Cherie Currie.

According to Variety, Dakota Fanning is in the running to join the cast of the upcoming Runways biopic. Kristen Stewart signed on to play Joan Jett, and now, Dakota is being considered to play Cherie Currie, who started the all-girl punk band at age 15.

No word yet on who will play Lita Ford, Jackie Fox, and Sandy West.
