Thieves made off with hundreds of thousands of dollars in designer clothes and shoes after breaking into Rachel Bilson’s LA home. The actress was in Canada visiting fiance Hayden Christiansen when the unknown assailants let themselves into her home for most of Rachel’s wardrobe, including her Chanel collection and vintage shoes.

Rachel’s mother discovered the break in while stopping in.

“She’s shaken,” a friend of the Jumper actress tells People. “She feels violated.

“They stole all her designer labels, shoes, clothes, bags … She collected a lot of vintage shoes, she’s a size 5, and they took them all,” says the pal. Also boosted? “All her jewelry, including some handed down to her by her grandmother.”

“Fashion is her passion,” says Bilson’s pal. “She’s devastated.”

Police claimed there were no obvious signs of forced entry, but refused to comment on the investigation.

After dating quietly for almost two years, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen decided to tie the knot. Sources claimed the couple got engaged last December, but want to keep it on the d-low.

“They’re so excited,” says the pal, adding that no wedding date has been set. “They’re a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.”

When contacted, Bilson’s rep told People, “I don’t comment on my clients’ personal lives.”

According to Page Six, Rachel admitted to a fellow passenger on a flight from LA to JFK Monday night that she was engaged, saying, “I’m not married yet, just engaged. I know I look like I’m 15, but I’m actually 27.”
