According to OK! Magazine, “Justin Timberlake is back in Britney Spears’ life.” The magazine claimed the former couple are set to record a duet for Britney’s upcoming disc.
No word yet when Britney and Justin will appear in the same recording studio together, but Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph issued a statement claiming she would spend the rest of the summer working on the new album.
According to a statement released Wednesday by her manager Larry Rudolph and Jive Records, the singer, 26, “is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album.
“She’s working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we’re very excited about what she’s accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet,” read the statement.
Britney and Justin collaborated in 2001 for a track called “What It’s Like To Be Me,” which appeared on Britney’s 2001 self-titled album.

Justin Timberlake welcomed Madonna into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Monday night, and used the opportunity to get a few digs in at a former girlfriend. During his induction speech for Madonna, Justin cryptically mentioned Britney Spears without actually saying her name.
“She has still found time to kiss someone I may or may not have publicly kissed myself while I was in the audience” Timberlake said. “Of course you know I was talking about Sean Penn.”
Timberlake punctuated his remarks with, “The world has always been full of Madonna wannabes and I might have even dated a couple.”
Madonna also got a few soundbites in during the dinner at NYC’s Waldorf Astoria. After Justin introduced her to the audience, Madonna shared some tales about her life in the music industry, including a few obligatory drug stories.
She gleefully recalled when she met her long-time publicist Liz Rosenberg. She was “smoking a joint,” Madonna said. She also told the crowd she split a tab of ecstasy with a music executive who she gave her first demo tape to.
I could be wrong, but I think Madonna would like us to know that she might be pushing 50, but she’s still totally edgy. I mean, she took drugs and published a book that featured her making out with Vanilla Ice. Clearly, she’s hardcore.
Now that all of her grease-ball ex-boyfriends are dating other broads, Kate Hudson was forced to look for a new dude to tap. According to Page Six, that new dude is Justin Timberlake.
Our source says Hudson has been secretly seeing Justin Timberlake for the past year. “Kate is very private and refuses to be seen with him in public,” an insider said. “She doesn’t want to be humiliated like Cameron Diaz was when he dumped her. But they talk every day on the phone and see each other often.” Reps for Hudson and Timberlake denied any romance.
