Greasy Brandon Davis caused quite a scene at Paris Hilton’s birthday party when he mercilessly mocked fellow guest Paula Abdul for her Arab ancestry.

A witness at the party told the New York Daily News at the time: “He kept on saying her last name over and over again, and then would insert his made-up version of an Arabic language.”

This incident seems even stranger know that a personal fact about Davis came to light: Davis is of Turkish descent. His last name isn’t even Davis; it’s Zarif.

“His father is Nebil Zarif, known as ‘Bilo,’” a source tells the Daily News’ Gatecrasher. “He’s a Turkish-American wine importer.”

Brandon uses his mother Nancy’s maiden name, which is associated with his late grandfather, oil billionaire Marvin Davis. But Marvin never approved of Brandon’s parents’ marriage, says the pal.

“He basically gave Bilo money to go away,” according to the friend.

Sounds like someone needs to see a therapist stat to work out his “issues.”

Check out Madonna’s new commercial for her clothing line at H&M. Although it’s a bit long (the director’s cut is almost two minutes), it’s completely adorable and worth a look.

Not bad for a 49 pound broad.

According to TMZ, ‘Prison Break’ star Lane Garrison will be charged with manslaughter today in connection with the fatal accident he was involved with last December. Garrison (reportedly drunk at the time) hit a tree while driving in Beverly Hills, killing a teenage passenger.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney will also charge Garrison with driving under the influence. He will also be charged with providing alcohol to a minor.

Garrison’s lawyer, Harland Braun, tells TMZ his client has arranged with the D.A. to voluntarily surrender to the court at 1:30 PM. We’re told the D.A. will ask for $200,000 bail.

We’re told Garrison’s blood-alcohol level was .20, more than twice the legal limit.

Significantly, the D.A. is not alleging Garrison acted with “gross negligence.” That’s important because the enhancement of gross negligence would increase the maximum prison time.

If convicted, Garrison faces a maximum of 6 years in prison.

We’ll have more on this story as it develops today.

Apparently, dining with her estranged hubby kinda puts Whitney Houston in a bad mood.

Whitney Houston and soon to be ex-husband Bobby Brown were keeping it together for their kid at a birthday dinner for daughter, Bobbi Kristina, at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills Sunday night. “He was bouncing back and forth from the bar drinking with the bodyguards, who were putting back $135 shots of VO at the bar,” said a witness. Stevie Wonder also joined the family, we’re told. “Whitney looked pretty put together during dinner, but the moment she pulled away from the restaurant, she yelled at her daughter to ’shut up.’ “

After reading Bobbi Kristina’s Myspace page, I must agree–the kid really does need to shut the hell up.

For reasons that I don’t entirely understand, Mischa Barton claimed because of her British roots, she would be an attorney had she not been an actress. WTF does being British have to do with being an attorney?

Barton was born in London but moved to New York with her family at the age of five, and she couldn’t be more proud of her origins.

She says, “I’m so proud of my roots. I feel very English and if we’d stayed in London I’d probably be a lawyer now.”

Um, ok?

She adds, “In my house you wouldn’t know that we weren’t in England. I
have Lucozade and Ribena in my fridge, and Marmite and Weetabix on the cupboard.”

Luckily for us, she’s a pot-smoking, droopy-ball-dating actress.

Hilary Duff appeared to call out ex-boyfriend Joel Madden in the lyrics of her new disc, Dignity. Duff seemed to have some issues with Madden and new girlfriend Nicole Richie, because her lyrics are extremely pointed.

The album’s title is Dignity, and, really, what could be more dignified than publicly calling out the anorexic ex-junkie who stole your boyfriend? “Where’s your dignity? I think you lost it in the Hollywood Hills,” run lyrics on the title track. “Can’t buy respect but you can pick up that bill.”

A second verse drives the point home: “Always with Mr. Right, but then you have a fight / Run into your friend’s ex, he’s happy to be your next / Tomorrow’s paper’s coming out so kiss him fast, watch the cameras flash.”

In another song, “Gypsy Woman,” Duff upbraids her former flame for succumbing to a temptress. “She lets you think that you found her first / That’s how she works her sick and twisted gypsy curse. / Talks with a grin ’cause she’s got no shame / Enjoy the fame, bringing down the family name.” (Richie’s father is Lionel Still Famous in Libya Richie.)

The album’s first song, “Stranger,” is addressed to the same party, but in a more melancholy tone. “You treat me like a queen when we go out / Wanna show everyone what our love’s about / All wrapped up in me whenever there’s a crowd / But when no one’s around there’s no kindness in your eyes,” she laments. She adds, “When I think of all the time we wasted, I could cry.”

Asked whether the songs on Dignity were written specifically about the love triangle, Duff’s spokeswoman replied, “Some are, yes. But she has gone through a lot, including a very frightening pair of Russian stalkers.” That would be the subject of “Dreamer”: “Don’t you have better things to do with your life / Than hang around and stare at me and complicate mine?”

Hilary, don’t let it get you down; Nicole puts out, and you don’t. Tons of relationships have ended the same way, I’m sure, although those relationships probably took place in junior high.
