Country singer Mindy McCready, who is primarily famous nowadays for her addiction issues and police record, is headed back to the click. Mindy, 32, is scheduled to turn herself over to authorities today for violating her probation on her prescription drug fraud arrest last June.
Her attorney, Lee Ofman, issued the following statement to Usmagazine.com Monday:
“In accordance with an agreement we have reached with the district attorney of Williamson County, Tennessee, Ms. McCready will voluntarily surrender to authorities on September 30th to serve a sentence of 60 days. The successful completion of this sentence will satisfy her obligation to the State of Tennessee resulting from her probation violation.”
Speaking directly to her fans, McCready said, “I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain. I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander.”
Mindy entered rehab last July for an undisclosed addiction. Friends claimed Mindy’s on-off relationship with Roger Clemens took a toll on her mental state, and prompted the rehab stint. Mindy and the New York Yankees pitcher began an affair in 1991 when Mindy was only 15 years old.

This week Travis Barker and DJ AM were able to start moving on from their September 20 plane crash. Doctors released Travis from an Augusta, GA hospital,where he spent the past nine days following the deadly Learjet crash in South Carolina.
“Travis Barker was discharged from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital this morning,” spokesperson Beth Frits told Us Monday afternoon. “He left in good condition.”
Despite burns on his torso and lower body, Barker has been “trying to stay upbeat,” his pal Bill Nosal recently told the Associated Press.
DJ AM arrived in a limousine to pay respects to Baker, 29. More than 300 people turned out to honor Baker, and many friends stood up to share their memories of him at the memorial service, which lasted two hours.
Baker was a close friend and assistant to Barker. “He was his right-hand man,” actor Simon Rex told People after the tragedy.
Baker is survived by his wife, Otillia Villar, and 2-year-old son, Sebastian.
Goldstein, dressed in a green polo shirt, followed Villar’s request that people wear green to honor her husband’s memory.

Amy Winehouse reportedly flipped her shit at the End of Summer Ball in London last week, and punched an unsuspecting back up dancer.
Following Amy’s performance at the $1400-a-plate event, a dancer named Sherene Flash said she asked for a photo with the singer. For reasons unknown, Amy responded by smacking Sherene, and then announced, “Life can’t go on. I can’t do this anymore.”
Cops were called to the ball where Amy performed, and took a statement from Sherene.
They are expected to quiz Amy, 25, later.
A pal said: “Sherene asked Amy if she could take a photo. Amy was OK at first, but when Sherene asked if a friend could get in the shot, Amy lashed out.”
A source said: “She was getting distressed. There was a lot of grabbing and flashbulbs were going off. She was startled.”
Amy is also alleged to have struck the official photographer for Thursday night’s event.
Friends reportedly surround Amy on a “twenty-four hour vigil,” because they are so worried about her crumbling state of mind.
One said: “No one wants to leave Amy on her own, she’s in a very fragile state at the moment. Her most loyal friends are terrified she is going to do something which she can’t overcome.
“She’s been to hell and back already but some fear she’s going to get worse before she gets better.”
Well, at least she’s still got her looks. Oh wait, no she doesn’t. Never mind.
