According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paris Hilton signed on to star in the sequel to Todd Solondz’ traumatizing (for me, at least) 1998 indie film, “Happiness.”

The indie filmmaker’s newest ensemble project, a dramatic family comedy set against the backdrop of a war, features the socialite alongside Allison Janney, Charlotte Rampling and Paul Reubens.

The producers describe the untitled project as a “part-sequel, part-variation” on Solondz’s dark 1998 family saga “Happiness.”

Well, you’re wrong, ’cause I’m champagne, and you’re shit. Until the day you die, you, not me, will always be shit.

Although I can unfortunately quote every line from every Todd Solondz film, I really hate his movies. “Happiness” and “Storytelling” are quite possibly the most disgusting movies I have ever seen.

That said, I can’t wait to see how he humilates Paris Hilton.

Kevin Federline’s attorney said his client will not ask a family court to investigate his son’s recent trip to the ER. Jayden James, Kevin and Britney Spears’ two year old son, was hospitalized over the weekend while visiting Britney’s familyin Kentwood, Louisiana.

A source close to Britney claimed Jayden suffered a “terrible allergic reaction” to something he ingested while in Britney’s care.

“We’re not going to jump to conclusions right now,” attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan tells E!. “I don’t anticipate there being a hearing. I anticipate that Kevin and Britney as concerned parents will exchange information and satisfy themselves that what happened was a freak occurrence and do what they have to do to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.”

“Kevin was considering going to Louisiana (after the hospitalization),” says Kaplan, “but the information that we had was Jayden was already checked out. There wasn’t an emergency.”

The trip to Kentwood was the first time Britney was allowed to take her sons out of state since losing custody of them to Kevin earlier this year.

Fergie claimed she put on a few extra pounds for an upcoming movie role. Luckily for Fergie, it appears all the extra weight went right to her boobs.

“I’ve actually gained 10 pounds!” she told reporters Monday. “No, really, for the film, Nine. Actually, 13 to be exact.

“I ate everything!” she continued. “Fish and chips. Everything fried, things I don’t normally eat.”

But now, she said, “I have to give it up! So, yeah, I’m in that phase! Back to diet designs, my food delivery service!”

Fergie will play “Saraghina” in Rob Marshall’s film version of the hit Broadway play. Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson co-star in the movie, which is expected in theaters next year.

Paula Abdul got an unexpected surprise last night: police found a ”big fan” of the American Idol judge dead in a car on her street.

The woman whose body was found outside Paula Abdul’s home last night may have been stalking the “A.I.” judge.

Police sources tell us they think the victim is an alleged Abdul stalker and cops have been to the house “numerous times before” to deal with her.

Paula’s people tell us they know who the woman is.

The victim was found dead in a car, yards from Paula’s L.A. home.

There is no evidence of foul play, and police suspect the woman may have died of a drug overdose.
