Despite the millions of dollars they were paid, Mary-Kate Olsen admitted she and sister Ashley actually worked for gummy bears as children on the set of “Full House.”

To decide which young girl would do a scene, “It was basically who wouldn’t cry in front of the camera,” says Mary-Kate in the new issue of Interview Magazine, on newsstands Feb. 25. As for nailing their scenes, they “would get little gummy bears,” she says, “cut into three pieces. And we’d crawl to the gummy bear or reach for it … The outtakes of Full House are pretty funny.”

Mandy Moore’s rep confirmed this week that the singer/actress is engaged to songwriter Ryan Adams. The two started dating in March 2008, but split over the summer because Ryan claimed he was “allergic to paparazzi” attention.

“Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life,” Adams told Us then, adding “unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter.”

Following the split, Mandy reportedly hooked back up with ex-boyfriend DJ AM, but that didn’t apparently last long: photographers snapped Mandy wearing an engagement ring while grocery-shopping in LA with Ryan yesterday.

Everyone’s least favorite appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, and it was… awkward, to say the least.
