Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating NBA player Marko Jaric for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman. This is exceptionally shocking, considering Jeric married supermodel Adriana Lima just last month.

According to Sports Illustrated, the assaulted occurred over the weekend when Jaric’s Memphis Grizzlies played the 76ers in Philadelphia.

Both sides have yet to comment on the investigation.

Anna Nicole Smith might be long dead, but she’s still causing problems for those she left behind. Authorities charged Howard K. Smith, Anna’s attorney and long-time close confidant, with conspiring to furnish the drug-addled Playmate with drugs.

Along with two of Anna’s doctors, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, Howard is accused of providing Anna with drugs from June 5, 2004, and January 26, 2007. Anna died from an overdosed on prescription drugs on February 8, 2007.

Kapoor and Stern were charged with one count of unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance between June 9, 2004, and Sept. 22, 2006. Eroshevich and Stern were charged with unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance between June 5, 2004, and Jan. 26, 2007.

Kapoor and Eroshevich each was charged with one count of obtaining a prescription for opiates by “fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.” Each also was charged with one count of obtaining a prescription for opiates by giving a false name or address.

Kapoor and Stern were charged with one count of “prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.” Eroshevich was charged with the same crime in a separate count.

So how long until we hear that Howard K. Stern overdosed or killed himself in some sort of auto-erotic asphyxiation situation?
