Mike Tyson’s four year old daughter succumbed to injuries sustained in a freak accident at the boxing champ’s Phoenix home. Exodus Tyson was discovered hanging from a power cord on Monday morning.

The Phoenix Police Department issued a statement saying Exodus died at the hospital on Tuesday morning after remaining in critical condition for almost twenty-four hours.

“I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.”

The Tyson Family also released a statement:

“There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”

Exodus’ death comes on the heels of the release of James Toback’s documentary “Tyson.” The film traced Mike’s life from his hard-luck childhood in Brooklyn to his amazing boxing career and later, fall from grace after being convicted on rape charges. “Tyson” earned a standing ovation last week at the Cannes Film Festival.

Lady Gaga spent most of April singing the praises of her purple floral tea cup. The singer mentioned the cup in multiple interviews, and reportedly lost her shit when she left the cup at a London restaurant.

“She hasn’t got a name but she’s quite famous now, so I made her stay in today. I take her everywhere because she makes me feel at home. I used to have tea at home with my mother every day, you see.”

Now, however, Lady Gaga has a new tea cup friend. Photographers snapped Lady Gaga with a white, poppy-print tea cup in Sydney over the weekend. No comment yet from the purple tea cup.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Mel Gibson confirmed he is expecting a child with his new girlfriend. Mel and Oksana Grigorieva’s first child will be born this fall.

Meanwhile, Mel is currently separated from Robyn, his wife of twenty-eight years.

“He couldn’t be happier,” says a Gibson friend. “He loves being a father.”

Grigorieva, who is signed to Gibson’s record label, Icon Records, is in her second trimester and due in the late fall.

For those eager to point to Grigorieva’s pregnancy as a catalyst for Gibson’s divorce, they’ll be wrong, says the close source: “This has nothing to do with the divorce. Mel didn’t even know Oksana was pregnant when they filed.”

Mel and Robyn have seven kids together, while Oksana has a ten year old son from her relationship with Timothy Dalton. A source claimed Mel’s kids recently met Oksana’s son, and they all get along well.

Mike Tyson’s four year old daughter is on life support after she was found hanging from a treadmill cord yesterday morning. Exodus Tyson was reportedly playing alone in the family’s Phoenix home. Her older brother  found her with the cord wrapped around her neck.

Paramedics were called to Tyson’s Phoenix home at around 10:30 this morning when his 7-year-old son found the young girl hanging from a treadmill by its power cable, according to MyFoxPhoenix. Tyson was not home at the time.

The girl’s mother took her off the cable and immediately started CPR.

Authorities called the incident a “tragic accident,” and noted Mike has since joined his family at the Arizona hospital.
