After having her driver’s license yanked following her DUI conviction, Nicole Richie is finally able to legally operate a vehicle, but only for work-related activities.

The former Simple Life star’s license was officially changed from ’suspended’ to ‘restricted’on September 19, 2008, according to Los Angeles Department of Motor Vehicles records.

Richie served 82 minutes behind bars and had to undertake an 18-month anti-DUI course after she was caught driving the wrong way down a freeway ramp road.

I’m not sure what would constitute a “work-related activity” for Nicole. Buying scarves or something?
