Later this month, Lauren Conrad will “unveil” her new Holiday 2008 collection at a nightclub downstairs from my apartment. Am I excited? Um, no, not really. When celebrities make “special VIP appearances” at this club, a “party bus” inevitably parks in front of my building and bumps Salt n Pepa until 2am. It makes my cats nervous.

Anyhoo, if you’re in Boston, and you would like to see overpriced clothing designed by a reality star, head to The Estate on November 15. Look for me on my fire escape shouting about the effects of second-hand smoke.
