According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paris Hilton signed on to star in the sequel to Todd Solondz’ traumatizing (for me, at least) 1998 indie film, “Happiness.”
The indie filmmaker’s newest ensemble project, a dramatic family comedy set against the backdrop of a war, features the socialite alongside Allison Janney, Charlotte Rampling and Paul Reubens.
The producers describe the untitled project as a “part-sequel, part-variation” on Solondz’s dark 1998 family saga “Happiness.”
Well, you’re wrong, ’cause I’m champagne, and you’re shit. Until the day you die, you, not me, will always be shit.
Although I can unfortunately quote every line from every Todd Solondz film, I really hate his movies. “Happiness” and “Storytelling” are quite possibly the most disgusting movies I have ever seen.
That said, I can’t wait to see how he humilates Paris Hilton.

Happiness is one of the most uncomfortable movie experiences I’ve ever had, no doubt. I’m sure this will be interesting, at least.

“Happiness” is one of my favorite movies, but I’ve finally learned to quit recommending it to people.
I can’t watch “Welcome to the Dollhouse” again though. I tried to a while back, and I had to turn it off because I couldn’t handle how depressing it was.
