Ryan O’Neal and his 24 year old son, Redmond, appeared in a Malibu court yesterday to face drug possession charges stemming from their September crystal meth arrest. Neither entered a guilty or not guilty verdict, instead Ryan’s attorney pleaded with judge to grant him more time to prepare for the trial.

The judge acquiesced, and agreed to hold the trial off until January 9.

Ryan and Redmond are charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession.
