When asked about her recent break up with Benji Madden, Paris Hilton claimed they were “just taking a break.” The couple split last week after dating for over nine months, but Paris told Ryan Seacrest she was just “traveling a lot,” and didn’t have time to persue the relationship.
“Right now, we’re just taking a break,” Hilton, 27, told Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Friday. “We’re really good friends. We’re very close.
“He’s such an amazing man,” she told Seacrest. “He’s my best friend. He’s been so great to me, so loyal. He is an incredible person, and we will always be really close. We’ll see what happens in the future. I’m still in love with him,” she added.
Sources blabbed that Paris ended the relationship because of Benji’s “controlling ways,” but Paris denied the allegations, saying, “never been treated so well” in her life.
“He’s just very protective as any man would be who’s in love,” Hilton said. “He wants me to make the right choices. Anyone who’s spreading rumors like that is just someone who I probably got out of my life. Since I’ve been with him, I’ve really separated myself from a lot of the places I used to go and people I know.”
