Guests at Britney Spears’ 27th birthday party on Tuesday night in NYC claimed the singer appeared to be completely catatonic. Britney seemed to have “no close friends on hand” for the circus-themed bash at Tenjune, and meandered around the various celebrity guests.

Spies say the pop tart looked vacant at her 27th-birthday party/”Circus” album release bash at Tenjune. In fact, her empty, wide-eyed stare as she was pushed and prodded throughout the club prompted more than a few revelers to whisper, “She’s so out of it!”

Guests included Heidi Klum, Jeremy Piven, Dan Abrams, Josh Lucas, and Lance Bass.
