Months after Demi Lovato arrived at Miley Cyrus’ 16th birthday party at Disney last October, bloggers noticed slash marks across the 16 year old Disney star’s wrists. Shortly after the wrist-cutting rumors hit the internet, Demi’s rep issued a statement claiming her wrists were injured earlier in the day due to tight jelly bracelets.
“These allegations are completely false,” says the singer’s rep, Lillian Matulic.
Demi, she points out, was wearing several oh-so-hip tight plastic bracelets earlier that day which “left indentations on her wrist.”
Since when do “oh-so-hip tight plastic bracelets” come equipped with razor-sharp edges?

I really wish I could buy it that it was just bracelets, but I’ve seen those kinds of scars before too many times.
I imagine they’re trying to fix them with plastic surgery or something so that, she can deny that they were cut marks. And that’s why she’s been wearing huge bracelets since this picture was taken.

They don’t. I’ve worn them for years in all situations. She’s a cutter.
