Sadly, it appears there has been another murder/suicide in the professional fighting organization. Police found former UFC fighter Justin Levens dead yesterday in his Laguna Niguel home, alongside his wife. The couple reportedly died of gunshot wounds.
Sources say cops are investigating their deaths as a possible murder/suicide.
Levens had a career record of 9-8 and fought in several different MMA leagues, including the IFL, WEC and UFC.
In a morbid twist, Levens once lost to Evan Tanner — the UFC fighter who was found dead in the desert back in September.
In June 2007, another professional wrestler was found in a murder/suicide. Chris Benoit was found dead in his Georgia home, along with his wife Nancy and their seven year old son, Daniel. Police later determined Chris was the perpetrator of the crime.
