Since the break-in at her Sherman Oaks’ home last week, Paris Hilton ramped up security. A man in a hooded sweatshirt walked into Paris’ home early Friday morning, and stole $2 million in jewelry and family heirlooms. A source told Us Weekly Paris is determined not to let it happen again.
“All of Paris’ diamonds, necklaces, rings, watches, old family heirlooms from her grandmothers was stolen,” the source told Us.
“They have the thief caught on tape since she has surveillance cameras set up in every room in her home,” the source said. “In the tapes the thief knows exactly where to go, almost like he’s been there before. Detectives are doing a big investigation and will catch this person.
“Paris has upped her security team to three 24-hour bodyguards around the clock and has someone on her property at all times,” the insider revealed.
Despite an earlier report that claimed the man simply walked through the unlocked front door, a LAPD spokesperson said the intruder “forced entry into the front door, ransacked her bedroom and took an undisclosed amount of property and fled the scene.”

*SIGH* Maybe it’s the Christmas spirit or whatever, but I will go so far as to say that this totally sucks for her. If you’ve ever been broken into, you’re not right for a while afterwards. She still sucks, though, don’t get me wrong. I can kinda feel for her on this one however.

Looks like the intruder didn’t steal her ugly ass wardrobe.
