In the wake of her split from boyfriend Travis McCoy last month, Katy Perry claimed she will remain celibate this year. The singer who gained fame for singing “I Kissed a Girl” said she won’t be kissing anyone in the near future.

“I’ve actually taken a vow of celibacy this year,” she tells the new issue of TV Guide. “No kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry.”

Katy also said she will perform at the Grammys on February 8; “I Kissed a Girl” is nominated for a “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” Grammy.
