Sorry, Chris Brown, but Rihanna isn’t feeling your half-assed apology.

Recovering from her various injuries at her home down in her native Barbados, the singer told a longtime friend in that island nation she was “appalled” by the comments Brown, 19, made in that statement.

A source said Rihanna was “appalled” by Chris Brown’s statement regarding their Feb. 8 fight.

While stating he was “sorry and saddened … over what transpired,” Brown did not declare any remorse or give any details about the couple’s Feb. 8 confrontation.

“All of us, including Rihanna, don’t understand how he can say he’s sorry on the one hand, but still … does not admit any guilt,” said the source, adding, “He should have expressed more contrition.”

After you punch a broad in the face, the least you can do is give her flowers or maybe buy her a car or something. Saying you’re “saddened” because you beat down your girl doesn’t really cut it, you know?
