Doctors allowed cancer-stricken Jade Goody to leave a London hospital this week. The Brit reality star declared she wanted to die at home with her family, including new husband Jack Tweed and young sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

The 27-year-old was seen wrapped in a red blanket, as she was wheeled on a trolley into an ambulance outside the Royal Marsden Hospital in west London. Husband Jack walked alongside, gently holding her hand, and ensuring she was comfortable after she was hoisted aboard the waiting ambulance.

Her final journey home was granted after doctors were satisfied that her pain was able to be controlled.

Max Clifford said yesterday: “The plan is that she will leave in an ambulance under supervision of someone from the Marsden who will administer the epidural and pain control.

“Jade is desperate to get home and spend her time with the boys.

“A nurse will spend two or three days at home with her, teaching Macmillan nurses how to deal with the epidural and Jade’s pain relief. What nobody wants is for her to go home and be in dreadful pain and have to come back the next day. The last time she was at home they couldn’t contain her pain.”

Jade’s health unfortunately deteriorated even more over the past week: friends claimed she recently went partially blind, with only limited vision in one eye.
