In case you were wondering, no, Natalie Portman is not dating Sean Penn. Despite reports of the two “making out” and “cavorting,” Natalie claimed their relationship is strictly platonic.

“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague,” the actress, 27, tells Usmagazine.com. “The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue.

“I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.”

Sean filed for a separation from wife Robin Wright Penn last month, after thirteen years of marriage. Meanwhile, Natalie and Devandra Banhart ended their relationship in September.
