The internet buzzed today with the news that Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi Montag dropped out of NBC’s reality show “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” after just one day. People Magazine reported the publicity-loving couple threatened to leave twice on Monday, and finally left the show’s Costa Rica jungle set after the live portion of last night’s episode.

Not that the cast will miss them: During one of the Pratt’s temper tantrums, the other celebrity contestants ransacked Heidi’s belongings and stole her dry shampoo.

Once the newlyweds came back to the campsite, an enraged Spencer smacked a water bottle from the hands of Frances Gallier, one half of the Vh1 comedy duo Frangela.

Pratt also hid wrestler Torrie Wilson’s bag away from the campsite in retaliation.

Explaining his actions, Heidi said: “My husband is a very new Christian.”

Sources claimed Daniel Baldwin would replace Spencer (brother Stephen is already a contestant), and Holly Montag would fill in for Heidi. The pair should make their debut on tonight’s show.

Spencer and Heidi, meanwhile, arrived back at LAX a few hours ago.
