Madonna kept it fly (and slightly elderly) last night at the premiere of her new documentary “I Am Because We Are” for the Tribeca Film Festival.
The movie is a “a look into the lives of Malawi’s 1 million plus orphans in the wake of the AIDS pandemic.” That sounds so worthwhile, I’m not even going to make fun of Madonna’s fug dress.

I dismiss her specious humanitarianism. There are plenty of effective AIDS charities for children already. She should simply raise awareness and lend her efforts to those agencies rather than being the predictably control freak that we’re used to and launching her own. It just smacks of “Look at meeee!”
