After a MIA period, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes brought daughter Suri out for a public appearance. The couple ventured from their hotel on Saturday for a quick stroll in NYC.
In case you missed it, Tom Cruise appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show last week, and discussed his life with Katie and Suri. Tom, in typical Tom fashion, called Suri “spectacular,” and said “she really is just magic.” Yeah, ok.
When asked why he and Katie waited so long before they publicly debuted Suri, Tom claimed they just wanted to “chill.”
“We just want to have our baby, have the kids and everyone get to know Suri, get the family up here and just chill and have that time that you never get back,” he explains. “You don’t ever get those moments back.”
On waiting three months to publish her photo in Vanity Fair in 2006, Cruise says, “Kate and I didn’t feel any need to [rush] it. We said, ‘Why? It’s our family.’ We just were on Suri time.”
I have no idea what “Suri Time” is, but I bet it involves lots of thetans.

oh, cool. that explains it. lol. i don’t know if you noticed, but i was a tad bit suspicious about the paps taking my picture yesterday. i didn’t know whether it meant something good or something bad. you can never tell with those guys.

They lost her and replaced her with another adorable toddler, a la Tinkerbell.
