Photographers snapped Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz yesterday on their way to a doctor’s appointment in West Hollywood. You’re probably asking yourself why Ashlee is wearing a low-cut silk dress to a doctor’s office, and frankly, I don’t have an answer. Perhaps she just likes to feel sexy while getting blood drawn.

Pete told reporters he would like to find out the gender of their unborn baby ahead of time for decorating reasons.

“I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

The Fall Out Boy bassist claimed he intends to make his new wife pop out quite a few more kiddos.

“I want either a band or a football team or a good geometry club. It’s ours together, that’s the beautiful thing about marriage,” he said.

The couple’s first child is reportedly due in late October.
