The world’s most famous virgin is finally ready to consummate a relationship: Adriana is engaged to basketball player Marko Jaric. The Brazilian supermodel’s rep told People that Marko gave her an engagement ring on Thursday for her birthday.
“He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn’t be more in love,” says publicist James Weir.
Lima, who turned 27 on Thursday, and Jaric, 29, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, have been dating for about nine months.
Adriana was very vocal about her determination to remain a virgin. When question on the subject, Adriana said, “I’m not very experienced. Sex is just for after marriage.”
