Palms Casino owner George Maloof spoke to People Magazine about his old friend Britney Spears. George claimed Britney is “doing great,” and continuing on the road to recovery since her freak out earlier this year.

The ”good friends” had dinner together recently, and while they didn’t discuss the possibility of Britney performing at his theater in the Palms, George said it’s something he has considered.

“I’d love to have her here at the Pearl [Theater],” said Maloof.

Britney stopped by the Palms Hotel to spend Father’s Day weekend with her father, Jamie. Many assumed her trip to Las Vegas was to help ex-husband celebrate his Father of the Year Award given to him by Prive Nightclub on Friday night, but that was not the case. Britney didn’t attend the bash, and instead chilled poolside at her hotel.
