Congrats to Jamie Lynn Spears: the 17 year old actress gave birth to her first child this morning. Jamie Lynn and fiance Casey Aldridge named their baby girl Maddie Briann.  

“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”

Most of Jamie Lynn’s family flew in for the birth: Britney Spears, along with father Jamie and brother Brian arrived in Louisiana yesterday.
