George Carlin died on Sunday from heart failure. His publicist said the 71 year old comedian passed away in Santa Monica, shortly after checking into the hospital complaining of chest pains.
George had a history of cardiovascular issues, and suffered several heart attacks.

I almost cried when I heard this this morning. What a sad day. He’ll surely be missed.
