Verne Troyer filed a lawsuit against TMZ and a porn distribution company for showing snippets of a sex tape he made with an ex-girlfriend. “The Love Guru” star claimed the tape was stolen, and TMZ disregarded a cease and desist letter warning them not to put clips of the tape of their site.
Troyer has also sued One Night in Paris peddler Kevin Blatt. He claims that Blatt, who’s known for his celeb-porn brokering ways, somehow acquired the stolen tape and, according to TMZ, is currently entertaining a $100,000 distribution offer from SugarDVD.
The adult-film rental company, which at press time was touting the new-found existence of a “full-length 50 minute video of Mini-Me in bed with a hot, young, FULL SIZED sexy woman” on its website, was also named as a defendant in the suit, per documents filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles and obtained by E! News.
Troyer is seeking $20 million in damages, as well as attorneys’ fees and an injunction prohibiting any further showing of the video.
Troyer is alleging violation of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, violation of right to publicity, and misappropriation of name and likeness.
Meanwhile, more is known about the woman co-starred in the video with Verne. Ranae Shrider is a 22 year old aspiring model from Kentucky, who lived with Verne for over six months before ending their relationship. Cute.

lol sorry hun but i was wondering really thinks she’ll make it in modeling, as well. i wouldnt say horse; she’s just really not pretty enough to be a model. modeling is cut throat business. i mean no way is she going to make it such in a career… no way.
