As disturbing blog entries written by Ruslana Korshunova surface, friends of the 20 year old model spoke out concerning her state of mind before she leapt to her death on Saturday.
Ruslana, a successful IMG model, kept a blog on a Russian networking site, and often wrote about feeling lost.
“I’m so lost, will I ever find myself? My dream is to fly..oh my rainbaw is too high..”
“I’m a bitch. I’m a witch. I don’t care what you say!!!” she wrote March 11. “I know what it is. I know why my other relationships didn’t work out, ’cause I’m unpredictable. Why are you afraid of it?”
Ruslana’s boyfriend claimed he had no idea why the Vogue model jumped from the 9th floor of her building on Saturday. He said he saw her around noon that day, about two hours before she died. The two had plans to go to her best friend’s birthday party later that evening.
“She was doing good. She was one of the top models. She was happy with this,” said Mark Kaminsky, 32.
Carrying a bouquet of white roses and lilies, Kaminsky wept outside Korshunova’s Water St. apartment as he recalled how he met the Kazakh beauty through a friend in March.
Although Ruslana did not leave a note, NYC detectives ruled her death as a suicide on Sunday.

That sad industry is super harsh, so I can’t say I’m surprised. You have to be utterly brainless or Naomi-vicious to hang, it seems.

I am sure she was a little fucked up before she entered the modeling world.
