The man Amy Winehouse punched at the Glastonbury Music Festival claimed he will not file assault charges against the singer. James Gostelow said he was not the one who pissed Amy off, but he was happy she singled him out for some abuse. Weirdo.
James told the BBC: “I saw a hat being thrown from behind me and it hit Amy’s beehive. She looked down, saw me looking up, and her elbow went for me.”
He added: “At the end of the day it is all part of being at the front and being pushed by thousands of people. It is all part of the Glastonbury experience.
“I’m just pleased I got to see her. She did a great act. Not everyone can say they have been hit by Amy Winehouse. I just want to shake the hand of the person who threw the hat.”
Amy checked herself back into The London clinic after her Glastonbury appearance, but after only 24 hours, she was already sick of that “health clinic” shit. The singer reportedly enlisted her father Mitch to spring her from the clinic.
