Jeez louise, what is it with couples separating today?
Anyhoo, amidst rumors of an affair with Madonna, New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and his wife of six and a half years have reportedly split. Cynthia Rodriguez, who is allegedly having an affair of her own with Lenny Kravitz, just gave birth to the couple second child three months ago.
The Daily News reported Wednesday night, citing an anonymous source, that Rodriguez and wife, Cynthia, have separated after having “problems” for about three months.
Cynthia Rodriguez’s mother, Evangeline Scurtis, also denied a gossip Web site report that her daughter had gone on a romantic getaway with rocker Lenny Kravitz to Paris.
“She is not! I know that,” Scurtis told The Daily News.
Scurtis repeatedly declined comment when asked about her daughter’s relationship with Rodriguez.
The couple was married in November 2002 and has two children, Natasha Alexander and Ella Alexander, who was born April 21.
According to Us Weekly, Cynthia spent the past four days in Paris with Lenny for “cozy time,” whatever the hell that means.

This relationship is a mess to begin with…
A-Rod seemingly has a license to cheat - it probably goes both ways.
I feel especially bad for the children involved; hopefully, both parents are still participating in their kids’ lives.
