Kelly Ripa strapped on a pair of heels to compete in the March of Dimes’ High Heel-A-Thon race in Central Park this week. I’m not a doctor, but I’d say it looked like a pretty bad idea.

Fools. But maybe they’re wearing Easy Spirits. I remember those dumb basketball shoe commercials.

If you look at the ground between 165’s orange heels you’ll notice a single purple pump matched with a spring-board prosthetic. A one legged runner? Plus all the orange ankle bracelets. GPS tranciever to track runners?

Holy shit, I never would’ve noticed that if Robert hadn’t pointed it out and now, I can’t stop staring!

Oh and I totally remember those stupid Easy Spirit basketball commercials.
And racing in high heels is a spectacularly bad idea.

i agree:: a race in heels lacks common sense, but i can’t help but say that i absolutely adore ripa’s shoes (and that’s coming from someone who’s not that into shoes.)
