According to Page Six, Kimora Lee Simmons’ career is heading in a rather low-brow direction.

Steve Madden and Kimora Lee Simmons have made a deal for Madden to exclusively manufacture and supply all the shoes, handbags and belts for Simmons’ new Fabulosity line at JCPenney.

I suppose JC Penney is better than TJ Maxx, but that’s probably the next logical step for Kimora’s line.

Her Baby Phat line looks trashy. I wouldn’t wear anything of hers. Steve Madden shoes are actually better than anything Simmons’ has designed. And please spare us the ghetto fabulous and animal print clothing. If I want to wear something that looks like a dead animal, I will wear an actual fur.

Kinda had to figure this would happen since her divorce and all.

why do celebs feel the need to make up words to describe themselves? as if stupid was good enough?

that picture is so photoshopped it’s not even funny.

  5. SORDID says:

Why are you pissing at TJ Maxx? They have designer labels!!In face they have some Phat Crap too for ridiculous prices that no one with any good taste would look at.
Not like the trash Penney sells for white trash farmers from the valley who need a pair of studded overalls!
Now get it right you jerks

I can’t stand that woman. She drives me up a tree.

Der- if anyone had been watching her show, you would know that she had been planning a launch of one lower end brand for JC Penneys. This all happened when she went to her hometown to receive a key to the city. It all occurred quite awhile ago.
And yes she is vapid, oblivious, mildly narcissistic, but eh…okay I just like trash TV.

Why do people hate her? I mean, sure she’s materialistic and bossy but bitch is hustlin’ which is a lot more than the faceless people with cutesy psuedonyms to maintain your anonymity are doing. Yes, me included. Love her. And yeah, that’s my real name.

I work at JC Penney (in wi, don’t hate) and the other day i walked passed the juniors dept. and saw a table with its own special LEOPARD cloth (the rest of the tables are bare). All i could think was oh god, that is so trashy. but now the trash makes sense.

why do we hate? uuh b/c she’s materialistic and bossy. And her clothes are hideous. And she does nothing for society or fellow human beings w/ all that money. It makes sense that she’s going to JCPenney. The lower class and younger kids are attracted to her style of clothing and JCPenney is affordable.

TJMaxx is WAY BETTER than JCP. TJMaxx sells good quality name brands for less; stuff that is discontinued or overstocked. JCP sells poor quality cheap stuff. Big difference. TJMaxx sells authentic Coach bags. JCP sells bags that look like Coach bags. See the difference?

I don’t understand why everyone hates her. I do say someone that is conceited but alot of people are even celebrities. and her clothing line is not trashy it’s just not preppy. not every one dresses preppy and I see lots lots of people wearing baby phat and if you watch her show Kimora does wear her own clothes baby phat isn’t her only brand she also has KLS which is more expensive the clothes are really nice. I see her wear more KLS then baby phat

TJMaxx? Oh, please, people. TJMaxx gets the absolute dregs of what is left over from the department stores. I work part time at a national dept. store and what is left over after all our sales, clearance, fifty percent off clearance, and $4.99 clearance is what goes to TJMaxx–the stuff no one would buy under any circumstances. Plus, you’re buying last year’s fashion and not getting particularly good deals. And no, you won’t find a real Coach bag at TJMaxx. The department store doesn’t own those Coach bags; Coach does. So don’t kid yourself about what a great value you get on fashion at TJMaxx. Smoke and mirrors, folks.

When a designer signs up to sell and design goods for a mass retailer…it’s hardly low-brow…that is where they make the real money since most people cannot afford the animal print dingle-dangles that she sends down the runway.
