Throw another one on the DUI pile: police arrested Shia LaBeouf on DUI charges early Sunday morning. The arrest came after the actor was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles. Officers at the scene claimed he was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

LaBeouf was driving when his car was involved in a collision around 3 a.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. S. Wolf.

Both LeBeouf, who recently co-starred in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and his passenger were injured, as was the other driver involved in the crash. Wolf said he didn’t know the extent of their injuries.

According to TMZ, Shia was seriously injured in the crash, and is in surgery at the moment to repair his left hand. Shia was at the corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood, and made a left turn in front of another car. The impact of the two vehicles colliding caused Shia’s car to roll, and resulted in a busted up left hand for Shia. His passenger and the other driver had minor bumps and bruises.
