Snaggle-toothed singer Jewel married rodeo champ Ty Murray in a private ceremony in the Bahamas on Thursday evening. The couple, who dated over ten years, never officially announced their engagement.
“She wore a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favorite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat,” says Jewel’s rep. “The couple is very happy and look forward to enjoying their honeymoon.”
The pair share a 2,200-acre ranch in Stephenville, Texas. Murray, 38, who hosted Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull-Riding Challenge on CMT last year, currently stars in the video for his wife’s new country single, “I Do.”
I seriously had no clue Jewel was still alive. Remember when she used to wear short-shorts and was all over Sean Penn’s jock? God, I miss the 1990’s.

They’ve been together for so long, I kind of figured they’d either decided to go the Kurt and Goldie way, or that they got married a long time ago and never told anyone.
Good for them. I hope they’re happy together.
