Clay Aiken’s BFF, Jaymes Foster, gave birth to the a baby boy today. Parker Foster Aiken was born at 8:08am this morning, and has dark hair like his mother.

Aiken is “thrilled” and “so excited” about the birth of son Parker Foster, he wrote in a blog post on his official site Friday.

“The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy,” the American Idol said of the 6 lb., 2 oz. baby born at 8:08 a.m. in North Carolina.

Aiken, 29, referred to Parker’s mom Jaymes as “my dear friend.”

“Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also,” he wrote. “The Aiken family, the Foster family, and the Parker family are all thrilled.”

Clay and Jaymes conceived Parker through IVF, but Clay is totally straight, so don’t get it twisted.
