Police at LAX busted old school junkie Mackenzie Phillips today for possession of heroin and cocaine. Mackenzie was immediately taken into custody after security found baggies and balloons on her person during pre-flight screening. Hmm, where could Mackenzie possibly have hidden balloons filled with heroin?
At 10:00 AM, officers responded to Terminal 4, where 48-year-old Phillips was being screened by TSA. During the screening process, some baggies and balloons believed to contain heroin and cocaine were recovered.

Mackenzie starred as the older daughter on 70’s and 80’s sitcom “One Day at a Time.” Her father is deceased Mamas and Papas singer John Phillips. She is also the half-sister of Chynna Phillips and Bijou Phillips.

She is an amazing talent and can bounce back. Look at Tatum. She’s still going through the recovery process - its a lifetime challenge. Cheap shots are still taken at her looks but I think she’s quite beautiful AND brainy.

I think this is sad. She was doing so well for so long. I hope she gets better.
I actually have nothing snarky whatsoever to say about this. I’m really just sad and hope she gets help.
