Although she pulled out of a scheduled performance in Paris last week due to an unnamed illness, Amy Winehouse recovered quickly enough to perform this weekend at the Bestival music festival on the Isle of Wight, England. The singer gave her tour rider to the festival organizers this week, and they were reportedly shocked to see that Amy requested 48 bottles of Jack Daniels.

A Bestival source said, “It’s common for artists to make requests for food and beverages before they arrive. But organizers have heard Miss Winehouse has ordered in an extremely large amount of Jack Daniel’s, in fact, a ridiculous amount that she and her team could not possibly consume during their short stay.

“Everyone is really excited about getting Amy to perform here, and naturally there are now fears she is planning something wild.

“With Amy’s record this can mean failure to perform or giving a shambolic performance. Whiskey is better than heroin, but not 48 bottles of the stuff.”

Um, they really think Wino can’t down that much alcohol during a gig? This is a woman who literally smoked herself retarded, so I’m thinking the odds on Amy’s side.
