Jive Records announced Britney Spears’ next album, titled Circus, will be released on December 2. Expect to hear the first single, “Womanizer,” on the radio September 22.
While fans are psyched to get a sixth studio album from the singer, sources close to Britney claimed her record label might be pushing her too hard. Britney left a psych ward in January, and friends said her mental state is still fragile.
“Britney has been going to the studio ever since she got out of the hospital, but it was more a therapeutic exercise than anything,” says a source close to the Spears family. “The people who really care about her knew that even though she wants to be the pop star she used to be, it won’t be good for her. Even her label, Jive, understood that. It’s a little unsettling to us that they’d want her to get back to recording so fast.”
I honestly can’t tell one Britney disc from the next. Sadly, it all sounds like the same over-produced garbabe to me.
And with that, I have officially turned into my grandma.

Well, Circus seems like the right kind of name for her music.
