The above clip is the video montage featured on Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” world tour. All of the usual visual shock propaganda is shown in the clip, including a few images of John McCain and Adolf Hitler with a backdrop of destruction and global warming. Towards the end of the video, images of John Lennon, Al Gore, Gandhi, and Barack Obama flash on the screen.
Even as a liberal, the video seemed a bit childish and obvious to me. I’m all for political skewering, but it’s lame to do it in such a blatant and tired fashion.

Get stupid? Yeah, paying $300 for a ticket to a concert in a stadium where you are so far from the stage that you can’t see a thing is pretty stupid.

We all know she is incapable of being subtle… she should have okayed that video with Axelrod first if she really wanted to help the cause…
