First your older brother dies, and then your mother bites it a few months after that. Could life get any worse for Anna Nicole Smith’s baby Dannielynn? Yup, it just did: Howard K. Stern is her legal guardian.
With the sudden death of Anna Nicole Smith, Howard K. Stern has already assumed the title of “legal guardian” of Anna Nicole Smith’s 5-month-old daughter Danielynn, according to the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
The law states, “On the death of the mother of a child, the father, if surviving, shall, subject to the provision of this Act, be guardian of the child, either alone or jointly with any guardian appointed by the mother. ”
Smith named Stern as the father on Dannielynn’s Bahamian birth certificate. Stern, who appeared on “Larry King Live” and proclaimed that he was the father, is in a war of words with Larry Birkhead, Anna Nicole’s former boyfriend who claims he’s the daddy.
Don’t drink of the bottles he gives you, Dannie; homeboy is reportedly a little lose with the methadone, if you know what I mean.

Birkhead is. At least he has a job, and we don’t know if he’s a junkie. Stern has no job, abuses painkillers, and lives in a wierd, disfunctional fantasy world. And people all around Stern are dropping like flies.

so does Howard get her money? or does the child get it and her father be in charge of it till she’s older? Does Anna even have money any more? This will be a very curious time.
