Less than a month after her death, movie studios geared up to churn out a biopic on the life of Anna Nicole Smith. Sources claimed Charlize Theron topped the list of potential stars to portray Anna Nicole.

A source revealed: “You couldn’t make up a life story like Anna’s. Studios are falling over themselves to pay tribute to an incredible woman. There are a number of actresses earmarked to play Anna, with Charlize the favorite.”

While there’s plenty of Anna Nicole fodder worthy of a film, doesn’t this just feel too soon? And isn’t Charlize just a little too obvious for the role? I guess if you just slap some red lipstick on Charlize from Monster, and you have an early-era Anna.
