Bad news for Mandy Moore; the actress fractured her ankle while jumping off a boat for for Self magazine. Bummer.

“It happened at the end of February in Mexico,” her rep says. “It was for one of the setups for the spread where she had to jump into the water.”

Moore, 22, who has been sporting a walking cast on her right leg for the past few weeks, graces the cover of Self’s June issue.

Honestly, I don’t really care about homegirl’s ankle; I thought she looked beyond adorable at this weekend’s Kid Choice Awards, and wanted a reason to post the photo. My bad.
