Danny Bonaduce admitted today his wife Gretchen has officially filed for divorce. If you’ve seen Danny’s VH1 reality show “Breaking Bonaduce,” you’re aware of how long overdue this filing is.
Danny appeared on the Adam Corolla Show this morning, and announced his wife sent him a letter to him, informing him that he will be receiving divorce papers very soon. Good for her.
The Bonaduces, who met on a blind date, have been married since 1990. Their recent troubles and Danny’s struggle with substance abuse, were broadcast on the reality show “Breaking Bonaduce.” Danny confirmed to TMZ that while “Yes, this is happening,” he says that it is absolutely not what he wants. “I don’t want a divorce,” he said. “This sucks ass.”
As for Danny’s radio co-hosts, Corolla tells TMZ that these developments are not “over one incident.”
Danny, for his part, will celebrate one year of sobriety on April 18.
A call to Gretchen was not immediately returned.
Can you imagine 17 years with that schmuck? This woman should be eligible for sainthood.

Having known Danny for over 32 years, and being in the Band, the Muddflaps with Gretchen for 4 years, I can say that this did come as a bit of a surprise. But knowing them both, I’m sure that this will be an amicable divorce, as I know that they still love each other very much. Of course are still holding out for a reconciliation.

they may be great people, but he appeared to be an asshole on that show. he seems to do anything for attention-good or bad. I understand that in the entertainment industry, attention is good, but this guy really didn’t seem to do stuff for his dead career. it seemed to be for his own personal satisfaction.
he also seemed to have issues with delayed gratification. couldn’t wait for anything good… he wanted immediate gratification.
now, diplomacy aside… he is an asshole.
